Sunday Childrens' Chapel We believe that children are innately and fully spiritual beings. We offer worship opportunities that are developmentally appropriate for them and also help them learn to worship with the faith community as a whole.
During the worship hour, 10:30 Sunday mornings, children participate in the Montessori based Young Children and Worship, an exciting way for children to experience God while learning about God. Designed for children three to seven, we encourage children to come when they are ready and stay as long as it is meaningful to them. We have had success with children from 18 months to 12 years of age. In Children's Chapel they hear Old Testament stories, the Parables of Jesus and Liturgical stories that illustrate how the church tells time.
Children are also encouraged to attend Worship with their parents if they choose. |
