Welcome!

No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome to join us at St. Andrew United Church of Christ. We are a progressive mainline Protestant congregation "on the other side of the Watterson." In our church you will hear several mottos or slogans that clearly articulate who we are as a congregation and as a denomination:

"That they may all be one," are Jesus' words in John 17:21, which relate to our ecumenical stance of Christian unity.

"Never place a period where God has placed a comma" is a quote from Gracie Allen (wife of George Burns). You will notice the "comma" is one of our more popular symbols (includng the "rainbow comma" at the right of this page). Gracie's quote suggests that "God is still speaking," and that God "hath yet more truth and light to break forth out of his holy word" (John Robinson, forebear of the UCC).
