Shelby Elementary Adopt-A-School Program St. Andrew has "Adopted" Shelby Elementary School, 735 Ziegler St. This inner city school is located in the Shelby Park area where St. Matthew UCC was located before it joined with St. Andrew. We have some knowledge of the area and much interest in helping this school in which a very large percentage of the children come from poverty level homes.

Our goal as volunteers in the classrooms is two-fold: To enhance the learning experience of the children and to be a Christian adult mentor to all the children.
